Just like the United States and all other states, the Texas Constitution has a Bill of Rights. Unlike the US Constitution, the Texas Bill of Rights is the introductory article in the document. It is also far more comprehensive that the US Bill of Rights and has content not found in the national document. It has been amended significantly since it was first written in 1876.


Goals: You should be able to address the following after reviewing the slides.
